Lying there, she was cold and torn

Effervescent, no more

Drawing her last breath

Whispering words of prayer

While they put flowers on your graves

And choose to remember you as the beautiful spirits you were

I will know the petrifying morbidity of your demise

The coldness, those twisted limbs

The void was filled with a resounding silence

Resonating like strings through the air

Collapsing with a sigh

Crashing down with the power of a thousand screams

Abhorrent echoes of what used to be

Even in death I am dreaming

Like I could tear this world asunder

With the sheer force of my will

We are all animated bodies

Drifting, floating in timeless sleep

Visions dripping away

Colours blurred to a grey mass

Violate my memories

Rape my ghost

Defile my being
