I was planted in a flower bed of sorrows

Where raven’s laughter blew up from the west

Carried whispers of a dream about tomorrow

In my heart it just be borrowed in my chest

So I rode my one-eyed mare across the tundra

Soon as I was old enough to go

There were dangers that befell the ones who wandered

But the fern moss just looked pretty in the snow

And I watched my breath crystallize against a lawless sky
