Within a restricted idea

Trapped beneath the weight of influence

A shape emerges, limited in its freedom to move

Though certain of its freedom to choose

We stack inerasable moments, convincing ourselves to climb

But true heights we hide from others

Out of fear of being left behind

Pleading that my range of needs

Goes further than what is expected of me
