Dark times, filled with violence and despair

As the sand of our time falls onto ruins, ruins of what used to be

We cry for help, they preach of salvation

Consoling generations, lies filled with bliss

We grasp, eager for change, light on our faces

Yet who are we kidding?

No man can undo this wrong which we’ve suffered for

years too long

No hand reaching out is honest

All they give are blood covered, money filled claws of death

DEATH BEFORE SALVATION, We cry for help, where are your heroes now?

You think they care?

As long as they look just

Rotting in lies of salvation, doomed to burn

The joker will triumph;

Gotham will have his parade

Blinded by tears, sick of wrong doing and pain
