Behold the citadel

Is covered by the weeds

On broken eggs of hope

There sits despair

The caterer is tending

To their needs

Fills the air

Lady Ruth is sitting

In her ivory tower

She became the bride

Of Frankenstein

And an angry bull is banging

On the door below

Crying 'let her go

The lady’s mine'

And the jester dances over

Undistinguished heaps of ruins

And revelation

I recognise the tune

The situation

And time is writing wrinkles

Upon his head
