She sat and cried

Thinking of the last fight and why she did nothing

She is surrounded by bruises and blood

At midnight that’s done

She reaches for the gun

And looking on to when she’ll be faced

With him eye to eye

She won’t be alright until she gets her

Midnight glory

She’s on the run

She’s got a gun

And I got a feeling he will beg

For his own life

She gets out the car

Now she knows there’s no turning back now

But she can’t help but feel justified

She sneaks through the door

And feels her way through the hallway in darkness

And into his room

As he lies there asleep

It’s almost midnight

He crossed the line too many times

She looks at her watch
