We could take the F-train

Ride on up to 9th street

Walk on through the park to where steel drum play

Dance around in circles with anyone that we meet

All this could happen on a summer Saturday

Talk, talk, talk, resting on a rock

Where we’re going, and where we’ve been

Back and forth, south to the north

When we wander in the summer wind

When the walk is over, we’ll sit out on the front steps

Laugh about our journey and sing a song or too
