But my type of sickness is difficult to pass on

A rare form of illness for which there is no cure

Perfected by the trials, through perseverance I endure

I pray the Holy Spirit gives me more desire

The workers are few, I told the Father I’m for hire

Praise the Lord, read the Word, raise the sword higher

Refine me like gold in the pure fire

The testing of our faith is a blessing in disguise

God strengthens in the wait then rains manna from the skies

I keep my eyes on the Most High Adonai

Lord and master, YHWH, how can I deny

That you’re the ultimate authority, more than metaphorically

But everywhere I go nowadays look like a horror scene

Mask on, gloves on, a picture of conformity

Y’all living in fear but Jesus Christ bought the warranty

So we could live affordably, act accordingly

I’m not bound by this world I know there’s more to see

So even though they closed the churches forcibly

My Father’s business is essential so I’m open during quarantine

We gotta learn to rise up above the circumstances

Don’t give the rulers of this world all the power

For our battle is not against flesh and blood
