There’s no peace for me

And these long roads I’ve been treading

Are becoming the one thing I’m dreading.

Why must I give up my better days for the misery that plagues me

For the misery that plagues us all.

I won’t wallow in my own self pity any longer

Like a Phoenix I rise from the ashes, stronger.

My fears will be cast aside and my courage will triumph.

I will rise, I am alive.

Positivity sheds it’s light on me.

I am alive, sever my misery.
