Through my eyes I’ve seen this peaceful place

free and without haste travelling through this land

below my feet there were a million stones

the wellspring close to me, the water and the sand

ICELAND, where loneliness is living

wastelands so many miles away

ICELAND, where mother earth is breathing

I know this is a place to stay

Through my eyes I’ve seen the rivers line

I slide along the coasts the northern light above

on my skin I feel a gentle breeze

a voice from deep inside that makes me fall in love

ICELAND, where loneliness is living

one day I will come back to stay
