The rocks are still

The rocks are still here.

Same with most of the trees

Overnight s and butterflies will freeze

Some go south where the heat is less of a tease

In a hundred years those things will be the same

The change will be that they’re surrounded by different names

But where do the rest of us go

The wind goes hot and then cold

And water hits the sand again and again
