I’ve seen those forsake all of their conviction

Devouring words sworn yesterday

Their identity consumed by contradictions

The actions of the world they mirror and portray

We’ll persevere and hold to our word when put to the test

Straight edge — we will never give in to fit in with the rest

Forever — we’ll never forget the reasons behind this claim

The reminders will never cease of the pain I’ve seen this monster bring

And these words are everything — they’re bound to my being

Our vision still exists of a new day and the sun to shine on the clearer

Leading the way for those to come we will ignite this beacon of hope
