VII - Make A Change... Kill Yourself

I’m on a downward spiral and I’m falling fast

Losing touch with reality and imagination

Perspective is fleeting, I suspect I’m slightly going mad

The signs are all right there to be read

Make of it what you desire

Interpretation is subjective

As I sit here contemplating my next move

I feel other presences here with me

And they whisper my name…

Are the shadows real?

Are the whispers?

In the dead of the night, I hear the voices clearly

They whisper my name and caress me with promises of silence and darkness

Are they really there?

Only they can lead me beyond

In the back of my mind (where there’s still a shred of reason left)

It sounds discordant and speculative

I have nothing to hold onto and life is pulling me down

«Fuerit morietur hac nocte» they whisper to me from the shadows

I am falling so fast

I see lights passing me by

Distorted shadows in every flash

I know that I’m on the way to my end

And I welcome the terminal freedom of death

I finally understood the voices

They whispered I would die tonight
