Something’s shining in the night

All the Stars are holding tight

They’re worried that they’ve lost their light

Can’t see themselves

As it’s too bright

The moon is watching over me

But the planets seem to pull themselves to you

Oceans rise at your command

Creatures speak and understand

Mountains move across the land

And nature guides your gracious hand

And people put their weapons down

And stop to think

And start to put things right

Don’t think you’ve lost your marbles

Because marbles can be found

You don’t have to try to marvel

To stupend or to astound

What you are is worth much more now

Alive than in the ground

You’ll never know quite what you are

But you’re something no one else will ever be

I’ve no idea what’s on your mind

To yourself you’re so unkind

What I see is much more than ‘fine'

I recognise the tell-tale signs

Angels give their wings to you

And all words lose their meaning
