Life now gone, there’s nothing left

Now at peace in eternal rest

Within this mourning

Beyond the pain

Memories repeated again and again

An inner torment

Grief held inside

Tears falling that will not subside

Time to leave, a final farewell

Amongst the stars I now dwell

If heaven won’t take you

Then the devil will

The reaper calling

Destiny fulfilled

Fulfilled

There is music in the midst of desolation

And a glory that shines upon our tears
