The passion is here and now.

My head swims

as my conscience drowns.

When I feel unbound,

Those lips would fit me

like a crown.

If I could just dissolve,

This tether to resolve,

I’d be king or I’d just float away.

To feel sane, I need it all,

Love, lust, lies, and trust,

I still pacify.
