Just a shady bit of white

From across the distance

Never leaves, she’s always here

Trapped inside the manor

The streets she walked so long ago

Through the same dark corners

No one else knows them so well

The silence is your friend

Make no sound

Shapeless was the end

No reason to shed tears

No sorrows

Death took all the fears

Oh, what a sleepy village

So many changes to this time

Pavements, cars on each side

TV noise, a distant plane

She can still remember

The place just like it used to be

The 19th century past time

And the day she passed away
