Far beyond the sleeping sea

In the land of perfect night

Endless fields of asphodel

Blooming without light

Asphodel, forget yourself

Neither paradise or hell

Even though your petals fell

Asphodel, it’s just as well

Sent on ships from many lands

Souls as nameless as their deeds

Lost among the asphodel

Hungering for flesh that bleeds
