I’m in this for the long run regardless of setbacks

I value my opinion over yours don’t forget that

The talking up on socials you can save all the chit chat

You paying no attention I don’t pay you no mind

Cause I am way too self driven to be wasting my time

No more negativity no more bad energy

Good vibes only how I ride when you step to me

People lie I don’t trust words I trust actions

Satan keeps calling but he won’t get a reaction

I wake up every morning with a little less passion

Walk this road alone so I do not have distractions

I’m six feet under when it rains it pours

Feelings get you hurt that’s why my heart is sore

Back and forth I’m going back and forth

Will I ever learn my lesson I don’t know for sure

I’ve been caught up in the moment hoping I can make things right

Been praying to my lord that I will get through the night

Depression is real its something I can feel

When I’m broken, batted and beated and don’t know how to deal

With anything I’m facing I’m tryna survive the struggle

But everything I’m touching is breaking and bringing trouble

I’m feeling so alone and my future is hard to see

My life is hard to manage I panic its always hard to breathe

I needed you I needed someone I could run to

Why is it so hard for me to say the words I love you?

And where were you when I needed you the most?

I’m filling the void with defects cause I don’t know how to cope

This is life I never experienced hope

My pen is guided by the devil writing this suicide note

Now I’m left without an answer to explain

Thunderstorms and dark clouds as I’m dancing in the rain

I wanna self destruct from all the feelings that I felt

But I am practicing acceptance with every card I was dealt
