First it gives and then it takes away

We drain our cups till nothing here remains

Our souls hell bent on giving up

The ghost as we escape this host

There is no human power that could change

So ready to kill the dragons I’ve been chasing

So willing to end this life that I’ve been bleeding

There’s nowhere left for me to run

I draw this line or I become

We trace the artery and try to open it and in our minds

We find a way to inject hope and healing

A broken vein, a crimson spill, a bottom found, a broken will

It’s only when we glare at our delusion do we see

So ready to kill the dragons I’ve been chasing

So willing to end this life that I’ve been bleeding
