Doors locked and it won’t open

Hallucinating ideals

From what my psyche used to be

Conflict begins

Kill the voice inside my head

With no way to get out

Evaluate

Exhaust possibilities

Control and sedate

Until I boil with rage

In lunacy

Pounding walls that no one hears

I scream the screams to get out

Thoughts are deranged

My voice is ripped in pain

Slipping inward and shutting down

Dementia wins this round
