How can I know what tomorrow will bring

When I’m not even sure of today?

Withering under the weight of existence

And desperate find my own way

I’ve checked the boxes and read all the books

Even gathered material things

Yet I’m adrift in seas of discontent

With no lighthouse to find my bearings

Trapped in this moment

Frozen in time

Waiting for someone to save me

Lost in the dark

Searching for some relief

Might we find solace

Wrapped in our unbelief
