Here,

Here I lay again

Alone in my bed

I drank too much again

And I just wish I was dead

I’m trapped in this cycle

I need to break it soon

I’m just so tired of

Sleeping in past noon

I know,

I know I have to change

I just can’t bring myself

To do anything

The thought of happiness is strange

But I can’t follow in this life

In this shade of gray

I have to remind myself

To move forward and not retrace

Need to make a change

can’t keep living this way
