the years go rushing by

the moment more I see, the way the time is changed

and so inside of me

but now I see the wonders in the world I never knew

in the morning sky, in the baby’s cry

all the dreams that I believe can someday still come true

I’ll sing about the sun how it warms the day

all the friends I love and lost along the way

I’ll sing about the miracles and gift of a life can bring

I’ll flower a growth how mother nature knows

when to melt the snow

and turn the winter into spring

we are young, tomorrow seems so far away

but now there are times when it’s all so perfectly clear

tomorrow is here

what happens to your dreams when time has slipped away

before it’s longest children’s play the game of this pretend
