Winter winds, take me back again

Nostalgic memories float over my brain

It’s not what I used to think, It’s not who I used to be

Anymore

It’s the coming of age, story of changing phases

It’s end of my favorite song, that I’ve been writing so long

It’s the chaos in between the lines, although I’d say I’m doing fine

That’s for sure

I’m a tabula rasa, a blank slate

And I’d do it all over just to be here again

I’m the untouched paper, looking for a pen

And I’d rewrite my story just to be here again

It’s the breaking dawn of learning to love someone

It’s the crippling fear and doubt of what you’d have to live without

It’s the new opportunities of who you could be

A brand new door

And I’ve tried before

It’s always ended in civil war

So I’ll start over again

And I’ll see where I’ll begin
