Not the hero

Just the clutch

Suffer on a stage while the crowd eats it up

Living a legend of martyrdom — all of it lies

Not the fairest

Not the first

All the promise

All for naught

Just waiting in fear and abandoning trust

Terror wasted

Abandoning ideas only as thought
