Entropy - The Green Leaves

I’ve crossed the hottest sands in all the world

They’ve scorched my soul and strengthened me to my core

I can’t bear to look ahead

I will not overcome

I will not arise

A system without a constant source of replenishing energy, dwindling slowly but

surely, noticeably so

So noticeably chaotic

The way is back and forth

To and from

Stay with me

I will be your shining light

A sentry to guide you through the night

Although we are entropic, we will not digress

We shall resist the growth

It is taught that entropy kills, so why do we allow ourselves to degrade still?
