Memories lost, painful and sad

Alone and forsaken, disheartened and mad

Spaces full of grief, tears are the stars

The whirlwinds of sorrow are forming the scars

The wounds are so deep, the marks are so ugly

The tissue disfigured and carved with no mercy

Black is the sky, black are the clouds

Sadness all over and screaming and shouts

Crying for justice, but justice there’s none

Dying for beauty but beauty is gone

Hate with no purpose lurks in the air

There’s nothing sacred, there’s nothing fair

Hope is abandoned and joy there is none
